Physician volunteers can make a huge difference. Do you want to mentor the next generation of doctors?
It may be too time consuming for a busy physician to volunteer to create and provide a meaningful premed mentorship experience on their own. To help physicians around the nation mentor this country’s future doctors, we are sponsoring a trial with 5 students combining our program with onsite time at a local physician practice (located anywhere in the US). Our program will provide structure to minimize the time burden on the physician, while ensuring a meaningful comprehensive learning experience for the premed student week by week. The only time commitment needed from the doctor would be to allow the premed student to shadow them in their practice for a half day twice a month. If you or a doctor you know would be interested in allowing a premed student shadow them twice a month, please let us now….
International students finish their first month, and it is going great!
We are extremely excited that our first international students have completed their first month of our premed program. Here are just a few comments:
“Everything is going on well and I am enjoying the course. I could not imagine myself diagnosing a patient. It (Virtual ER) was a great experience.” - Lizzy from Ghana
“I am loving the course so far!” - Olivia from Canada
“I really find the course very educational” - Abdulai from Ghana

Grant Proposal finishing touches
This year we will have approximately 200 students in our program, and if our new grant proposal gets fully funded we will be able to expand to 1000 students nationwide the following year. If we use the 18% increase in acceptance to accelerated college/med school programs from last year’s class, this could save 180 students a full year of med school tuition, room, board and fees ($35-50,000/year) representing $6-9 million in reduced educational debt combined! If you know of an organization that sponsors nonprofits focused on medicine, please let us know.
